Julie Meyer, landscape designer

In the 1990s, Julie led wilderness expeditions, taught environmental education, apprenticed on an organic farm, and installed gardens for Earthwords, a residential landscape company in Newburyport, MA.

She began teaching about the environment as well. She led tree identification walks for the University of Massachusetts, taught residential landscape design at Holyoke Community College, and presents today on native plant design, beginning with Garden Clubs and Nasami Farm Nursery in 2002.

In 2008, Julie interned at the Bioenginering Group in Salem, MA, and today brings experience in collaborating with landscape architects, engineers, and ecologists. While working towards a graduate degree in landscape architecture, she performed GIS mapping for the Massachusetts Association of Conservation Districts (MACD).

In 2011, Julie received a masters degree in landscape architecture, focusing on collaboration in the planning and design of public open space and ecological restoration.

Working with Julie is an experience in collaboration and ecology. Bring more than beauty. Enjoy the wonder of biodiversity, function, abiotic support, resilience, and connection to the larger landscape by contacting Gardens of Delight here.
